The Age of Stupid is a 90-minute film about climate change, set in the future, which had its world premiere in London on March 15th 2009 and was released in UK cinemas on March 20th 2009, followed by other countries.

Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite (In The Name of the Father, Brassed Off) stars as a man living alone in the devasted world of 2055, looking back at “archive” footage from 2007 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance?

The Age of Stupid

Just to make sure that things don’t get too dark we have lined up some great live entertainment to follow the film in the form of:

DJ ROYSTAN playing Ska, Reggae & Soul trax.

THE DUKES
Bristol Legend Mike Crawford brings his 5 piece Soul and Blues band combining deep soul vocals with funky and blue grooves. On stage 10pm

Jam goes live

April 1st, 2009

http://www.jamrecords.co.uk

I have been working on this site for what feels like an age but last night we switched to live. Considering the constraints I have had in making this site I am very pleased with the outcome. The core shopping cart is based on OpenCart and it has been relatively plain sailing in regards to the theme. Some issues did arise in regards to postage options and such but generally I have been very happy with the choice.

I now have a list of phase 2 elements that need to be added to the site but for now I am happy with the Twitter integration, the Flickr integration on product pages as well as the audio samples and Last FM integration, if you can find it of course !
